Bitcoin, Ethereum and USDT are the available assets to pay employees with the hyBit payroll.
Currently, employers are able to connect a Coinbase Wallet or MetaMask wallet. For requests to connect any other wallet please email our support inbox, or request in our feature request form.
There are no set-up costs associated with registering an account on the hyBit platform. Employers will pay £2.50 per user on the hybrid payroll, per month. There will also be blockchain transaction fees to send payments, but these will vary depending on the network and congestion.
No, you will maintain your current fiat payroll platform/system to continue to pay employees the Fiat portion of the payroll. hyBit integrates with Xero and Quickbooks, meaning employee crypto payments will be reported correctly.
Crypto salary payments sent with the use of the hyBit platform will automatically be reported to HMRC via your existing fiat payroll platform. The crypto salary payment will automatically be displayed as a deduction on the employee payslip, via the API integration to Xero or Quickbooks.
hyBit caps crypto salary payments for BTC and ETH at 10%, to ensure excessive risk is not being taken. There are no caps for stablecoin salary payments.
